How Herbs Benefit Us

In general use, herbs are any plants used for food, flavoring, medicine, or fragrances for their savory or aromatic properties. Culinary use typically distinguishes herbs from spices. Herbs refers to the leafy green or flowering parts of a plant (either fresh or dried), while spices are produced from other parts of the plant (usually dried), including seeds, berries, bark, roots and fruits.

why use herbs

Herbs encourage and enable your body to heal itself without the side effects that usually accompany pharmaceuticals, Along with reduced side effects, you have the assurance that the cause, rather than it’s symptom is addressed, and the result is homeostasis , the natural balance of your biological terrain. From the infinite variety, ready availability and unencumbered effectiveness in addressing the gamut of human ills, it is our sincere belief that our Creator put herbs on the earth to maintain and restore health,.

What is an herb

An herb is an unrefined plant, the most natural form of an amazing variety of parts of trees, shrubs, and what many people would consider weeds. It’s estimated that less than one percent of one percent of the medical value of all herbs have been discovered and are being used by humanity. Fortunately, enough herbs have been discovered, to address virtually any condition in the human body. Herbs have stood the test of time not only for centuries but for millennia. In this day of rising and falling fads- even within the staunchest medical circles- herbs stand apart with an impressively thorough and proven track record. Simple, inexpensive and effective, herbs can provide the missing link to our environment, in an age of mass-produced foods.

What to expect when taking herbs

Fresh-herbs.jpg

This is probably the most asked question regarding herbs. You can usually expect this basic pattern: an immediate better feeling in 2-3 days will come as your body recognizes that an answer has arrived. This will be followed by a ‘plateau’ period while your body figures out how healthy it can afford to become under your living circumstances. Once it’s convinced that you’re serious, it begins to clean, heal, and strengthen, a process that will take one month for every year of the condition. Imbalances such as blood sugar levels, thyroid, constipation, ext, will correct very quickly. Deterioration’s and deep conditions such as arthritis, cancer, STD’s, ext, take longer.

For example, a 42- year old man who was raised on natural foods, but switched to white flower, white sugar, and preservative-filled foods around 19 years old has 23 years of abuse to address. With a good colon-cleansing program aided by a building program for his colon and any other clogged/damaged systems, he could expect to have himself healthy in 23 months- just under two years. During this time he will experience many cleansing experiences as quantities of old deposits, assimilated food products, and parasites are thrown off into the gastrointestinal tract, the blood, and the lymphatic system. As this happens, it is normal- in fact, it’s a very good sign- to experience nausea, diarrhea, rashes, aches, ext…just as the rubble had to be cleaned from Ground Zero before any building up could happen, your body must clean out garbage before it can heal. And you will continually feel better and better!
